Why does modest pop up new mail messages about email already marked read on another computer with another IMAP client such as Thunderbird? Is this a feature or a bug? An option to disable this...

I had this problem when I restored an OS2007 backup. I guess the only solution is not to restore everything (settings maybe) from OS2007.

Well that sucks. I hope they'll release a N800 version soon. Really there shouldn't be any difference. Since the N810 OS works fine looks like I'll be updating my OS2008 next time in december.

Skype seems to be available, at least on the unofficial N810 firmware.

The latest python that is in maemo reps doesn't even include glade? As far as I can see it hasn't been updated. Also nothing on their homepage. What's going on?

I prefer it too, even when using the stylus. Especially now that the menu scroll speed has been fixed, scrolling through those thumb-sized menus is not a chore.

Yes I was using the bora repo (as instructed on their webpage). Changing dist to chinook solved it. Thanks for the help.
