Thanks.

It seems you are writing the url as: http://your_blog_url.com/xmlrpc.xml
It should be http://your_blog_url.com/xmlrpc.php or only http://your_blog_url.com without the xmlrpc thing (in this last version it can detect automatically this part).

Another niggle: When I go to post to my blog I get a posting error. However the post has actually gone to the blogger system. I ignore the error now but it's something to look into.

Some error in the log window from the menu?

If the post is published correctly, it could be something as an error to save the post title to show it in the main page, but it will show a posting error though it isn't completely true.

The app could add xmlrpc.php to the url or not add it, but I didn't see why it would add xmlrpc.xml because not exist function to do it.
Are you sure that maemo wordpy added it?

Well, surely, because it's xmlrpc.php not xmlprc.php

nope, everything is defaults.

only thing i can think of is that i trigger something by forgetting to activate the wifi before attempting to send the post.

but even then it should not have any effect after i have shut down and restarted wordpy?

it simply seems to sit there, no traffic in log, nothing.

ugh, i just did something i should have done the first time i had problems, launch wordpy via xterm.

i found a error:
Code:

 from wordpy import posting

 from wordpy import wordpress, blogger
 File "/usr/share/maemo-wordpy/wordpy/blogger.py", line 2, in <module>

Please, could you try with my test account:

url: http://pruebaesto.wordpress.com
user: yerga
password: llaranes

Don't add the xmlrpc thing in the url, only write it with it's here.
Thanks.

Yes, it shouldn't be problem. If there isn't connection, the post will fail, but it shouldn't have effect in after tries. But the progressbar should stop, and not stay there forever.

Well, could you launch it from the terminal to see if there's output?
Thanks.
