No. I can see camera output only on n900, not on Desktop. Tested on Mandriva 2010.02 and Suse.

Yes, now n900 shows me ip-address (http://192.168.1.X:9000), but VLC says: "VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://192.168.1.X:9000'.".

Hmm... Waiting for another solution.

About (4)... N900 says: "http://:9000" (not give me his IP).
I know IP of my N900, but...
