Red Pill mode worked. Installed fine. Now the question is what player will play the podcast. I tried mplayer and media player and get invalid format errors. Any thoughts?

I was wrong. It is not the player at fault. The file downloaded by the podcast feed is the problem. It states MP3 but a podcast must have a different format or Podsync is causing the problem.

You found the problem, it's in the section part of the package, thanks :-)

(I had red-pill mode activated, thats why I didn't understand the problem at first)

I've updated the package, it should now install without red-pill mode: http://wsys.nl/podsync/Podsync-0.0.7.all.deb

Can you tell me which feed it is? Then I can test if podsync is causing the problem.

I'm having problems with this as well. I'm on an N810. I'll get the mp3 that's got the right file name and extension but it'll only be 1 k. I'm using http://leoville.tv/podcasts/twit.xml

Hmm, I have the same problem with that feed, looks like libcurl doesn't really download the mp3, but also doesn't report an error. Strange, I will try to find the problem.

Sorry for the problems, but please keep in mind that it -is- alpha software :-)

(Keep reporting them though!)

I'm just happy there's someone else out there smarter than me to figure this stuff out. Keep up the good work.

hi, whouweling

I have not migrated to os2008 version but have a similar situation with a subset of my feeds with podsync on os2007.
I thought I would post them here so as to help identify the cause.

[they do work fine in gPodder]

Once again thanks for Podsync, whouweling; most of my podcast feeds - see below - do work

Sorry for the total noob question folks, but I can't seem to get a download directory assigned. I wish to use my internal card (Card1), but when I put in /Card1/Podcasts for the directory, Podsync says there is no download directory assigned. What noob blunder have I made?

** Fixed error. Noobs

URL OK : http://cba.fro.at/rss/entriesfrombro...ndungen_id=186
URL problem : http://i94bar.podbean.com/feed/
URL problem : http://feeds.feedburner.com/GaragePu...sts?format=xml
