Uninstalled Wizard. I have flashing cable driver and connectivity cable driver listed as two different items.

does windows make a sound when you connect the device and power it on? or when you remove the cable from the device?

then maybe its the cord, maybe its the device... have you tried calling technical support?

Yes. They say I have to use the nokia ca-101 micro usb cable and that cable only.

No I have a micro usb cable from another manufacturer , not the nokia micro usb cable that came with the n810.

I suppose it could be the cable... What happened to the usb cable that came with it?

It was lost. I suppose it could be the cable it would literally have to be crossed internal wiring or different voltages or something. Have you used something other than the nokia cable?

When they say it has to be that cable, they probably just mean that's the only cable they will support. But other cables should work.
