IT'S ALIIIIIIVE!!!

I put the stock pieces all back in which got it to boot to the menu, but no input still so I re-flashed the rootfs.

She's all good! Restored from my last image (gotta love backupmenu) and I'm rockin' and rollin'.

IF it was toasted, I was seriously thinking about a Dell Streak 5.

Lol. That just reminded me of No.5 in Short Circuit.

Did Nokia just create a phone with more than one life?

I remember reading here in the forum that the N900 is very difficult to brick unless you are trying hard. I guess it is true.

Oh, yea. and something I learned is that it won't boot if the slider/lcd cable's disconnected. So this sort of problem is understandable.

There is actually a thread around here discussing different ways that people tried to brick their N900's, nobody ever succeeds.
