Gentlemen, I have an issue.

This may be because the GoG version of the game comes pre-patched at 1.5, however when I go into options and want to alter controls, hitting enter makes the screen flicker, but I cam unable to change settings from keyboard to Joystick, or even MOUSE.

Basically I cannot move the "check" from Keyboard to any other things. PLEASE HELP!?

I'm using files from GoG as well and I can confirm this.

I have the problem that game data is not saved.
Each time I need to enter a pilot name and all my keybindings are gone too.
And how does one save a game in game?
I only found out how to abort the game and only one time by accident I somehow got the ingame menu to show up.
Could anyone at least tell me that combination?

Same thing here with my game files from GoG.

But I can use the N900's stylus to check these boxes without any problems.

I am however unable to get accelerometer control working in the game. I have accelemymote 0.1.1 installed and I have a $HOME/.d1x-rebirth/amm-autostart file created (permissions 755).

However, when I toggle either Joystick + Mouse or just Joystick as the control method in the game's options, I can get no in game responce from the accelerometer.

Also I notice when I start the game from the command line I see this:

"sdl-joystick: found 0 joysticks"

The sound file error is normal until you install all of the correct sound files into the correct location. You can do this with .mid files if you have tmidity installed, or you can use the .ogg version of the files if you modify that start command for d1x-rebirth.

Instructions on both methods are contained in earlier posts to this thread, just look for them.

As far as the package dependency problem, we could probably help you if you include the actual error message to include the dependant package names....

Ah yes I see using the stylus to select the radio buttons works.

So yeah, Ctrl-S does bring up the save game dialog. And I can then select a save spot and enter a save name. The Enter button then closes the dialog without error and allows the game to resume.

However, when I press Ctrl-S again, the save game dialog does not display the save I just entered. Also, the Load Game main menu option reports that there are no save games available.

Can anyone else get a game save to work?

My game saves never gave trouble. They're stored in ~/.d1x-rebirth/ with the format playername.sg#
