Some mail services require a 3G connection only to work with N900.
However, each time I loose 3G around the city a connection error appears.

So my question is quite simple:
How do I change the identification on my mail client?
Somehow like on a web browser.

Thanks

UP

Allow me to explain,

Modest stops syncing and I'm kicked off the yahoo servers every time my connection jumps to 2G.

However this can be changed by altering the way the mail client identifies itself.

Please help, thanks.

It can't, email clients do not identify themselves to the mail server. Your problem is caused by something else, probably at the network level.

Issue only appears in 2G, I still have to test with PR 1.1.
