Hi Guys,

This is my first post. So pls be gentle.

While browsing i came across this phone which has more specs than Nokia N900.

Its a windows mobile computer phone and supports both GSM and CDMA.

After looking ths specs i feel its better than N900.

That xpPhone looks pretty huge, and how's it's battery life? I won't even get into how usabale xp will be on a 4.8" screen: That's personal preference I guess. If it suits your needs, then go for it, but it looks closer in size to an MID then what I really think of as a "phone."

i completely agree with you...SIZE & WEIGHT are major downside of this phone.
May be if they reduce the size then it may give good competion to N900.

Not going into the whole linux vs windows debate, Windows XP simply doesn't scale well down. Slow processor, small memory, small screen and no optimization or hack could make xp usable and power frugal.

Maybe i'm just compulsively pessimistic, but i don't think such a phone will come around too soon, and even if it does, it will probably be crap. Why? Well:
* not only is it a chinese company (yes, i know everything is made in china today, but it's important who oversees the process), but it's also one of those companies that can't afford a fully-functional site (browse around, see the empty sections), and also has it mixed with the chinese version
* no serious announcement : no details about when it may be released, how much it will cost, no hard anything; they're just a bunch of guys hoping to be able to do it
* too good to be true; yes, there is such a thing in the real world, even if it is physically possible to cram that much technology in there, it should either cost close to 1000 euros or be crappy

i think if there was actually going to be something that is supposed to compete in the mid area w/n900 and it was windows...it would have to be arouind the 7.
