Well, right now if you want to play lots of albums you could add them in order to the On the Move playlist and then save it. It might be possible in the future to implement this, but there are some...

Hun, it's having problems reading the configuration file for lastfm. If you erase /home/user/.canola/prefs/lastfm, it should probably work again. Somehow that file seems to exist but is malformed....

Iskarion, I just tested with both those videocasts, and it apparently is fixed already (we've been working on this resume feature lately). On the next release it should already be ok. Cheers

Hun, gonna need a little bit more output than that. It would be easier to redirect it with 'canola -vvv 2> /media/mmc2/verbose.txt' and then attaching that file here.

Disconnecting the wifi manually also stops Canola for you guys? Tried it here and it kept playing normally.

Ok, so we've two different things here:


Perhaps Canola is having problems loading the last.fm plugin.
Have you tried running it from the command-line with 'canola -vvv' and watching the output...

This feature is planned, but I'm not sure when exactly it will be implemented. Hopefully, as soon as Canola's source code is released, others will join and help get this to work. Cheers

Ideally the user should not have to remove canola.db, ever. This happened with this upgrade to users that were on beta10, but shouldn't happen anymore. For next release, we're improving some database...

This has also been fixed now, thanks for the report. (not sure when it will go to extras/extras-devel though, hopefully as soon as possible.

Did you run 'canola -vvv' as root ? Could you please try running it as an user and then pasting the output here ?
In order to save all output (both from canola and from dpkg) you can use...

This feature was lost when we had to backtrack some stuff from beta10. It'll probably be added again, just can't exactly tell you when because I honestly don't know :)

There was a user having the same problems as you, and it turned out he had some of the chinook repositories enabled.
