Re: what decent phone can I..........
That monthly fee probably doesn't include voice calls. And yes Samsung makes wm phones, i607/Blackjack for instance. Which doesn't work with the bluetooth pairing, btw.

Re: Asus Eee Pc and Nokia N800
I think it depends entierly on people's expectations and personal usage models. I think there are a lot of people (you know the kind im talking about, they pop up on the forum every so often) that...

Re: Asus Eee Pc and Nokia N800
I have a feeling Nokia will always have atleast the 'cult' following when it comes to palmtops. Early to the market, with open source software to boot, thats the stuff small cult followings are made...

Re: Help...Battery won't charge...
Maybe it isn't an issue of the battery charging, and is an issue of the tablet not powering down for standby properly? Try using it right after a charge and seeing how long it lasts under use?

Re: Asus Eee Pc and Nokia N800
I suppose the Everun is better, or at least I would trade my 770 for one if given the option. Price does play into the 'market' factor though. Lets take cd players for instance. Would you say that a...

Re: Asus Eee Pc and Nokia N800
SD69 is correct. Neither the n800 nor the Eee are UMPCs.
Ironicly enough though, by that definition, it almost sounds like the Eee and especially the ITTs (which considering their form factor...

Re: Asus Eee Pc and Nokia N800
I'm with Khertan on the 'not the same market' point. I don't think Nokia will feel particularly threatened by the mini-laptop that is the Eee. 7 inch screens are well and good for viewing things on,...

It IS a consumer device. I think you are confusing the definition of 'Consumer Device' with 'Peice of hardware that will do exactly what I want it to because it runs linux therefore I infer that the...

Re: New Apple BT Keyboard
It wasnt so much a shot at their standards as much as it was a shot at how apple likes to keep in all in the family so to speak. Keep it nice and simple and closed and clean. It makes sense though, I...

I think we're having a bit of a miscommunication when it comes to widgets here. I think I'm not understating your terminology properly. So are you saying there be a bar at the top or side or where...

Re: What would the perfect UI look like?
Clearly we should make a modular UI based on legos. Want more complexity? Add on a few more blocks. Want it simpler? Take a few blocks off. I think it should be pretty important though that not only...
