I believe its supposed to shutdown the transmitter after so many seconds of no use to save power. You should find that when a sound is played after the transmitter times out that it will power back...

Yeah it installed with dpkg fine, but when opening the file to run through the appman the installation pop-up, tick to confirm, stated the install would be 0kb. Then a message appears stating...

Did you manage to find it, its the FMTX2 (www.freemoe.org/users/qwerty12/fmtx2/fmtx_status_menu _item.so) but obviously for some reason the site is down. Does anyone have a copy of this version?

Once running, and you try and close it a message pops up stating it cannot access the transmitter.

Open x-terminal and gain root ("sudo gainroot"), then type the following.

killall fmtxd
