Re: Any ideas for use of old laptop?
If its a Pentium 4 (Not a P4M) then junk it. When the P4M (Mobile) cost far more than a desktop P4 CPU many of the laptop manufacturers decided to use the desktop CPU in laptops. The piece of crap...

Re: Has anyone uninstalled the default Map app?
For me, I found it to be useless. The mapping/gps software on my n75 is far better and useful, especially Goole Maps. If I need REAL GPS, thats what my Garmin 2610 is for.
Others may see things...

Re: Nokia discontinuing N800?
The 810 didnt have enough to warrant getting rid of my N800, and one has to figure that the 810 replacement is far back enough that by the time it comes out, it may be a valuable upgrade. It will...

Re: pre-800 owner skeered away
You are going to find that no matter what it is, there will be some kind of problems associated with it. For me, the N800 has been great and done everything it is supposed to have done. I was just...

Re: Windows mobile
Let me put it this way. WinDOZE Mobile is the binary equivelant of hitting yourself in the head with a hammer a few times. Which is exactly what you will want to do after a long enough experience...

Re: How Long Does It Take For Buy.com?

Re: Check it out Igo Bluetooth for 29.99$ (-_-)

Instead, I have the SU-8W from Nokia and it works perfectly with my N75 and my...

Ok, I think I have an idea here. Could somebody please email me the poi.db file? I think if I recreate the directory structure and put the file in all should be well.
