yes it is normal .
and yeah to check if your temperature is going over the limits.
try to find Savecpu app from the app manager.
what does this app do.
it allows you to choose a certain temp....

AFAIK no-one has has had their their warranty rejected due to overclocking. I've overclocked and had my USB port repaired under warranty.
I wouldn't go so far as to say no one has damaged their...
