Can anyone recommend a good place to get a new N900 battery?
I need one that doesn't require using either eBay or PayPal since I have had VERY bad experiences with those companies in the past and I have all sorts of reasons (that I wont go into here) as to why I wont use either entity ever again.

So, something that doesn't go through eBay and offers a payment method other than PayPal (such as VISA or a direct transfer from an Australian bank account) is what I need.
I am happy to pay up to $50 Australian if that's what it takes to get a good capacity battery without going through eBay or PayPal...

Maybe this one? Lot of payment options, seems like they ship internationally (Shipping costs Germany: Free. Other countries: 2 € per article.)

The new polarcells are crap, I have been on this journey for a few months including those Polarcells, three months old and below 900ma/h.
I would love to just know where to get genuine Nokia BL-5Js.

OK good to know - they were advised in another thread. Probably without trying them for a longer period.

Seems like I can still buy original BL-5J's in the Netherlands

I'm using a polarcell (I think it's the same as the one in the link) and it is quite ok. I've bought it some time ago, like 4 years and it's still good.

I'm not a heavy user of the N900 in a daily basis (just a few short calls, some texting, some music, some browsing) and it lasts like 2-3 days, so for someone who uses it heavily it should last a full day.

The bad news is that they change the supplier. The first one that i got, about 2 or 3 years ago, used to reach +1500mAh when mew and even today it is in better conditions that the one i got just a couple months ago.

Just did a callibration cycle and down to 800ma/h on the Polarcells in four months.
Be careful most sellers say OEM and they actually are not, having a relationship like you do is important in the world of amazon and ebay.
