I forgot my N9 to my car overnight, resulting the battery to drain.

It does nothing now, wont turn on, no led when connected to charger. Maemo flasher doesn't detect anything either.

I have tried several chargers and usb cables without results. I even left it to charger overnight... Seems like its completely dead.

Next i was thinking to take it a part and charge the battery seperately from the phone, but is there anything else to try before that?

Software is all stock without any tweaks.

What do? Also warranty is expired.

What does the LED say/blink/light when you push power button?

First thing to do is decouple battery. Did you try already?
Push the power button for more than 8 seconds.

Done that, nothing happens. No led no anything. 8sec hold (tried over 2minutes pressing power button, several times.) No response

you need to charge it via the flasher.
Flasher doesn't detect the phone

Try opening that phone and take that battery connector out, wait few minutes, then put it back and try to charge.

There should not be any response!
This will just act as "batt flip out - batt flop in".
-- no need to press that long (8-10s is definitely enough)

Flasher doesn't detect the phone
Now after doing so, what does the N9 react like when connecting via USB? What does the PC do (flasher tool, installing drivers)?
What kind of USB (mainboard connected, not device front?)?
Which PC, which OS (32/64) and so on?
Correct flasher version?

--what is the behaviour of LED when switching on (power button 3s) after decoupling?

No drivers detect, no nothing. Win7/64bit, flashed with this config many times without problems.

No leds at any point, no matter what i do.

Ill try to take it apart tomorrow.

Okay, got it working now.

What i did was take it apart, removed the battery and measured the voltage, 3,89v so the batterty was at full charge.

Then i removed all the cable connectors from the mobo and reinserted them, put all back together and finally inserted the battery connector to mobo, then led flashed

Finally the screen and final screws, booted up like nothing. So removal the battery was probably all needed.

What i noticed after inserting the battery it started generate a lot of heat to the upper section of the phone, but does not anymore. Wonder what caused that?

But it works now so better not to mess with it anymore. And newer leave you n9 to car overnight especially when the winter is coming

this can be sorted with flasher, try several times to flash the phone firmware, at one point it will recognize the device and start charging from 0 to 11%, hit CTRL+C at 10% and then leave the phone plugged for 10 more mins...after that it should turn on and be able to charge..
