Dear All

I want to share my problem with you, My device has a problem that it cant take any SIM any more also there is a red lable on SIM
There is a message when i turn on my device will appear on the screen that its not taking Data from SIM also if there is no card it will show this message again

when i make *#06# to check my IMEI it will show it blank.
also when i go to settings to my nokia icon will give me internal error and it will close

I tried to flash it but without use

Can any one help me with this

The message that it shows

(All telephony functions, including emergency calls, are disabled due to a communication error. to recover, you might have to reboot the device.)

Yeah Flashing the phone didn't solve the problem i think the EEPROM has been effected

did you try to downgrade to a lower PR?

I had the exactly the same problem.
The warranty was still valid so I sent it for repair and they replaced it with a new one and I got a new 24 month warranty.
Before I sent it in I was able to get it to work for a short while with placing a bit of paper between the battery and the sim so there was a little pressure on the sim, but the problem became worse after a while.

i did downgrade the level with same problem, i sent it to nokia in kuwait and they told me that its difficult to repair...!

the warranty is not valid anymore.

I ready dont know what to do with it.

I'm not sure why downgrading was mentioned as an option.

This problem has come up many times, and nearly always the problem is hardware related. I've had it too, and eventually Nokia "care" replaced my N900.

Nokia support didn't repair it and as they said (it's not fixable)
i don't know how no one from nokia care knows how to fix hardware problems for this model

So, This is the End of my Nokia N900
