Been putting it off for a while now and it was getting out of hand. Anyhoo, I appear to have disturbed a whole bunch of garden dwellers as expected but it was not untill I saw the blue "thing" that I decided to grab the N900 and take a snap or two....

Not the best quality but enjoy





Any clues as to what it is?

After I finished with him, I saw this little fella running through the grass












After him, I was on the hunt for more creepy crawlies (only found the usual garden forna)

think the blue thing is a ladybird lavae?

It is. I've even occasionally seen blue ladybugs here in Texas. They have been a little bigger than red ones.

OMG!!! Somebody said the word EPIC in my thread!!!!11one!

You know what this means (read up)

Chears for the replies guys, now I know what a Lady-bird/bug lavae looks like. I have seen hundreds of lady-birds before but never a lavae (I guess the legs should have given it away)

Oh and thanks Den, I do have to agree AND was hoping that it would be a small distraction the current threads
