theres no way i would pay more than £100 for one, nokia have gone backwards with regard to their specs on this one, if you want a great camera i would highly recommend the canon 550d, and keeping your maemo device

Good call @BigBadGuber!.
The N8 is a solid phone. I think with the updates rolling in for Symbian over the next year, it's only gonna get better. It's tempting even though I own the N900.

if you are a photography enthusiast i think you will be very happy with the n8. if it had a hardware keyboard and integrated IM like the n900 it would easily be my main phone, but really i just use it as a really good point and shoot camera with wifi so i can upload really fast. the included photo and video editing are also quite nice.
