can any one help me i want to flash my n900 on xterm is there a way to do that without connectin to internet???

Please try using the Power Search option in the top right corner the next time you want to post something.

I think Googling without internet might be difficult for this user.

If you have already downloaded the firmware and eMMC image then no.
To download them initially, yes, of course you do.

Also:
1. try using a descriptive thread title, you will attract more responses.
2. next time try using google, power search etc. Try to show others you have at leas tried to help yourself. This will also attract more responses, it will also show other your are willing to learn and not just feed off others.

I wish those two bits of advice always worked nowadays. Sadly, there's still times they don't. Anyway:

Your question has already been answered, BUT, once you have the images, there are two commands in x-term to flash with:

softupd -D --local
flasher --local -f [path to and name of image being flashed]

I am pretty sure this should do it.

Run as root, obviously, and one after the other, in that order.
