sorry about that. i actually don't know how i fixed it when it was 1.1. i just restart the phone and even sometimes remove the battery and it'll return to normal.
i tried the same thing in 1.3 but no avail. is there something i can use to check the virtual keyboard in the x-term or even tweak it there?
it's enabled it the text input so it's supposed to pop out but it doesn't...

propably program u installed thts buged n did tht try deleting the newly added programs then restar n check it again

no apps! reboot not help.
even after re-flash (without any apps installed) it not work. I don't want to "downgrade" to 1.2 for just to proof that bug is in 1.3.
But I think that this issue is cause of previously installed apps (in 1.2).
We know that flash not erase all data, not only phone app not erased, some conf\list files stay as they was. For example: you put widget on you main desktop, on left corner... after re-flash (upgrade) widget disappears, but if you install it, it comes to his last place on desktop. so phone remember it?!..
I don't want to reset to phone factory (without any proofs that this is the solution) and I don't want to play with flashing. any one solve it by any way?

solve it!!!
It was SYGIC9.
if it "was" before upgrade to 1.3 - you must to install (sygic) and then uninstall it. remove res + maps + drive.
