dsme (seems) to be the application that keeps 'critical applications' running, and reboots the phone if they die.

This all fine and dandy, until I realised that 'camera-ui'(which auto-starts the camera upon pressing the button) is also defined as 'critical'. This means that if it dies, your phone reboots. If it gets corrupted, instant reboot loop(I tried this last night - replaced /usr/bin/camera-ui with a blank file, then killed all instances of camera-ui. Instant reboot loop).

I am looking for a way to add or remove applications from dsme's startup list - I'm sure it's all in some config file.I, for one, don't want my phone auto-rebooting unless it's something -extremely- critical, like X.

Thanks,

-Rob

There is no list, but camera-ui starts from

/etc/X11/Xsession.post/17camera-ui
and
/etc/X11/Xsession.post/22camera-ui

I don't know why there are two identical files.
