I want to copy paste a command in X-Terminal which someone has sent me. So lets say I want to copy paste it fromna notepad and paste directly in x-term. ctrl-c, ctrl-v does not work as it is unix. How can I do that.

to paste into xterminal tap the xterminal drop down menu (the title bar at the top of the screen) and there should be an option to paste.
