this was discussed here, use search, anyway : https://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_...ng_the_Flasher try reflashing kernel and then try again... (but check out other threads using search, you might find better answers)

make sure that your battery is fully charge 100%.you wont go in to mode if its not fully charge.
take off the back, take the battery put the battery in press u on the keyboard
