Proxy issues don't indicate a problem with the repositories, rather a problem with how you are trying to connect to them.
Thus my question: how are you accessing the internet with your N900?

i am having a similar problem with three repositories:
1. Ovi
2. Nokia Applications
3. Nokia System Software Updates
The error message is "Proxy CONNECT aborted."
Hope someone can help me to rectify this.
Previously i did not faced this kind of problem.
