Hi,
It appears that my application manager application will not uninstall. I had this problem a while back with Adept package manager on Kubuntu and resolved it by unlocking a file in /var (I think) This the file that apt-get uses to track whether an installation is complete and will disable install/uninstalls if it is not unlocked after an upgrade or install is completed. It might be the same problem is happening with my tablet as it rebooted in the middle of an install.
Apt-get update did not resolve the issue. Does anyone have a link or remember how to do this on the Nokia? Also, is gainroot from the terminal sufficient to complete this process?

Glen

I do as root:

rm /var/lib/apt/lists/*dists*

cd /var/lib/dpkg
cp status-old status

it works for me
