Sorry in advance if this thread already posted here.I wonder if some one can help me please.
We use Lotus Notes email at work. I used to receive emails on my Nokia N95 through Lotus Traveller before, but I miss it in N900 now.

Is there any other way to receive Lotus Notes emails on N900, as I know it does not support Lotus Traveller.

Lotus Notes should have been hit over the head with a shovel and buried years ago.

Sorry, I know that is unhelpful but Notes and I have a history and I bear grudges for a long time.

Your best bet is to use the iNotes web interface to get to the web mail.

I use iNotes, but it does not work as a push mail. Usually it updates every 2 hrs in the server, which is quite long delay.

Yeah, INotes doesn't work well. Moreover, I don't see why anyone WILLINGLY uses Lotus Notes anymore, without being forced by a corporation they work for or represent. It is easy to make fun of software in the usual sense, but this steaming pile of crap really deserves it. Anyway, sorry to thread hijack.

Hey, anyone still interested in this,

I have managed to sync my N900 with Traveler using the MfE client successfully.

The only tricks are as follows:

On the server:
Notes Version 8.5.2
Traveler Version 8.5.2.1
Edit the NokiaDefault.xml file and the NTSConfigTemplate.xml files and change the following line:
<PROPERTY NAME="AS_PROVISION_EXEMPT_USER_AGENT_REGEX" VALUE=""/>
to
<PROPERTY NAME="AS_PROVISION_EXEMPT_USER_AGENT_REGEX" VALUE="N900/1.1"/>

This allows N900s to not have the policy enforced. N900s don't support policies.

Install an MFE profile and change the server from just the hostname to

hostname.company.com/servlet/traveler

then use normal kind of settings for the rest.

and bingo, most things just work.

Push works (even on wifi) folders are not great, inbox works just fine, contacts work, calendar and invites appear to work and notes don't (but they dont in MfE anyway)

suggest you also install:
fAPN
MfEfolders
SMSCON (and editor)

Hope this stops the frustration I had for all of the time I had my N900 untill I scoured the IBM technotes and found one to assist people getting palmos to work with Traveler.
