It's very difficult to find any other Maemo user here in Brazil so if you're one, please introduce yourself.
I'm Danilo, I live in São Paulo and I own a N900 and a N810. What about you?

Alex, I am from Sao Paulo as well and bought my N900 at Dec 2009. Soon there will be more N900 owners here since Nokia announced it will be launched here in about 1 or 2 months.

Nokia VP himself was present in a press conference at Sao Paulo and even said N900 would be launched with Meego instead of Maemo... I still have my doubts if that's true, but anyway the journalist answered me by email that he indeed said Meego on N900... let's wait and see!!!

My name is Cláudio Sampaio, 36, and I have been a GNU/Linux user for as much as about 15 years. I bought the N900 because it was like a dream come true -- a viable cellphone with GNU/Linux!

I live in Campinas, SP and I am a UNIX analist at IBM.

By the way: there's a great blog about the N900 in portuguese: http://n900.aguilarj.com. It also has a very nice forum.

In portuguese (I don't know if this forum allows it though):

Meu nome é Cláudio Sampaio, tenho 36 anos e tenho sido um usuário de GNU/Linux por 15 anos mais ou menos. Eu comprei o N900 porque era como um sonho finalmente realizado - um celular viável com GNU/Linux!

Eu moro em Campinas, SP e sou um analista Unix na IBM.

A propósito: há um excelente blog sobre o N900 em português: http://n900.aguilarj.com. Esse blog também tem um fórum muito bom.

So, for now:

1 Portuguese guy from Lisboa
2 guys from São Paulo: Danilo (me), electric engineering student, and Alex (russo_br)
1 guy from Ceará: Watergate
1 guy from Campinas: Cláudio Sampaio (patola), Unix analyst at IBM
1 guy from Balneario Camboriu, Ronaldo (maya), realtor

And I thought there weren't many N900 in Brazil...
