im thinking bout replacing my lcd and touch after a dog bite to my mob?

can any1 help with his/her expierences pls?

Here is the Service Manual.

I have pulled apart my iPhone and done many repairs on that. I do not think the N900 will be much more difficult, actually.
Research it first!

Try this : n900 disassembly.
(someone else in another thread had a screen problem too).

Lost my video signal after a drop yesterday. Foillowed a diagram drawn up on the microphone prob thread to disassemble. Reattached my video ribbon cable and fixed my microphone and it is working again.

Definitely make sure you have a phillips screwdriver small enough to fit the screws perfectly. I not only stripped a couple of screws, I severed the head right off of one by screwing too hard.

ye i have the manual i just wanted some personal expierences..and does anyone know where i can get the screws from? manual say i can only use them once....

You can reuse them (I've disassembled the QWERTY ASSY and reassembled it with the same screws about 5 times).
Just be careful not strip/break them.
