I lost my nokia messaging due to an update on my n900

called nokia and was told it was maemo that created the update and they had nothing to do with it and could not help until a new update was out that included the nokia messaging

which from my understanding is not installed with the new update but is seen by the nokia messaging website as it being included in my n900 ..so no download there.

where is the nokia messaging service provider stored (phone or nokia servers)

mr. n900 specialist at nokia also told me they are in the same boat as they updated also
