is it possible to edit a message that ive received via text message??

im guessing its a sudo gainroot job, but i dont know where to look in the system file structure to find the messages!

and FYI - dont be a n00b and copy and paste commands into the Terminal with out knowing what it doe's and what you'll need to do to correct any problems.

Now why would you want to edit a recieved message??

just click on message and press forward

SMS are stored at /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el.db

You need some sort of SQLite browser
I used http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/

would forwarding it to yoursel, removing the FW tag work? then remove the old message?
