Hi.

I will hardly ever forget the mohycans of gaming industry as mentioned above. I still have Bermuda syndrome, and would like to know if anyone was successful installing and/or running the game on N900. Yes, I am aware of the fact that Another World could perhaps run in dosbox, nevertheless, Bermuda Syndrome is of the highest interest here o_O. I am grateful for any useful feedback in this matter. -LtR-

I know of the REminiscence engine, a rewrite of Flashbacks engine.
http://cyxdown.free.fr/reminiscence/
It's source is downloadable from the site, and is done in SDL, so I'd imagine it woulden't take much to make it able run on a Maemo device.
Fun fact of the day (i think): If I'm not mistaking, the iPhone port of Flashback was based on this code as well.
I guess what I'm saying is, that I second LuckTRs request for a port of Flashback atleast, as I know thats achiveable

Reminiscence? Looks fantastic! Good old Flashback. In my opinion, best arcade right after Another world and of course, Heart of Darkness. Interesting. Tnx for support, seems that all middle age gamers haven`t forgot yet

I play the SNES port of Flashback perfectly using DRNokSnes on my N900.

Just checked it to see if it compiles. Seems to compile fine without any changes in the SDK. I haven't had my original disks for flashback for years so I can't check that part sorry :P but at least it compiles

Ok, im not sure if the colour issue is the SDK or not.

EDIT: I'll test it on the N900 hopefully the colours are normal
