As there are only 2 profiles, how would you turn the phone (GSM) part off but keep the PDA active.
i'm thinking when travelling abroad, the previous nokia phones had a flight profile... if this does not than i would need to turn the device off and i cant watch my movies...

This is strange and not very user friendly. There seem to be some profile data in /var/lib/ohm/profiles. Anybody know the syntax for the file and if one can add more profiles there?

There's a profile api. I'm not sure, but i suspect an app could play with the profiles to simulate them being more (loading sets of settings per user request).
I tried to make such an app, but libprofile and other profile-related stuff don't seem to be present on the emulator. I'll give it a shot once i have a device (though i probably won't until february)
