I do not have a phone, but I have knowledge! With that:

HD video wont work (requires flash 10 for the codecs), but regular video on hulu should work fine (SD quality).

Can someone confirm?

When it gets the Flash 10.1 update, I think it will run HULU fine. For now, there may be some stuttering problems, because it already seems to have problems with large youtube vids...

disclaimer: I do not have a n900, pure speculation.

Edit: wow, post number 1111 Make a wish!

Currently, Hulu works, but it is SLOW. We'll see what Flash 10 accomplishes. Personally, I have not had one issue with any YouTube videos -- even playing them in full-screen.

Seems to be quite amazing you can have full flash on a mobile. I have a few computers at home, one of which is a Celeron 2.4Ghz, 2GB RAM, Intel Integrated GFX but it just about plays SD quality on youtube sometimes a little stuttery but definitely no HD or HQ.

Interesting the N900 has the same power as my old desktop.

N900 can play Quake 3 but my old desktop is not powerful enough.

Talking about flash sites, can somebody please check if the videos on http://www.spiegel.de/video/ are playing smoothly on a N900 (SD version and HD version. HD is the yellow button in the lower right corner)

On a N8x0 the flash videos there are like a slideshow with only 2-3 fps.

Thanks.

Check out Witter, a twitter client for N900
http://danielwould.wordpress.com/witter

If Witter isn't working for you, eg crashes/doesn't start, gives errors etc etc. Please run it from x-term using:
run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/witter/witter.py

This will generate diagnostic output. Without this I cannot help you.
