We know it can do youtube, we know it can barely play Hulu with stuttering. What about megavideo, vimeo, and other flash based media sites? What about Facebook video? Anyone with an n900 want to test?

I hear its only Flash 9.0, so for sure it's not going to handle the new version of HULU

Why the hell is Hulu making it so difficult for mobile hardware to run on it. Couldn't they lighten the load a bit allowing devices like the N900 to play it seamlessly?

Its not Hulu's doing. We just have an older version of Flash, v 9.4. 10 will fix it. I think Hulu wants to have a mobile site, and is blocking mobiles in order to charge us down the line. So stupid to restrict free content.

But my friend said the N900 played Hulu smoothly over WiFi. Maybe it was an issue with the connection?

as i am concentrating on simply clock, calendar, wather and info widgets
on my www.mojocafe.net project, i can not tell you if the old radio widget
i once did still works on the n900.
But i quite sure that it does.
So in terms of "media audio streaming" i think that it is fully supported.
But the lack of flash media players is a reason why surf tables ain't
used for that.
It's easier to play stream through shoutcast enabled players.

Greetings,
Carlos

One thing i'm really interested is Pandora.com.
And if it works would i be able to get around the problem of accessing it from Europe with N900?
