My tablet is acting really strange... The backspace button stopped working. I can't double-click on internet sites. The directional pad stops work in the Notes program, but works to navigate around the main menu. The letter A corresponds to pretty enter in my ToDo program and I can't click complete for my tasks in that proram. What is going on? I just installed maemo-control and the OTG program, but I uninstalled them and it still happens.

Create a Backup and try Flashing Your Tablet, that might stop the virus.

Linux having a virus? BUAHAHAHAHAHA! Dude, that's about as absurd as an honest politician. Not impossible, but certainly highly unlikely.

You're probably just suffering a corrupt install of your OS. Just reflash and everything should be fine.

Well, there are several known linux viruses. Anyway, probably corrupted filesystem, can hit anywhere... Reflashing does help if you don't know your way around.

This may help:

Even then, are they built for armel? Or are they fully portable unlike their windows counterparts?

Looks like there's no need to be portable if everyone makes the same mistakes

I have another one of these. The maemo irc logs, after some of the longer flame wars, can crash virtually any browser you throw them at due to sheer size.

Fortunately, OoM errors should not be exploitable (if yesterday news are to be believed)
