My N810 internal flash, mmc2, went read-only a couple times now. I tried to boot from flash a couple times to delete the swap file (.swap) and at last successfully . So at last, I was able to format and create swap again... but it has happened to me twice already.

Is the mmc2 gradually becoming bad?????

Does anyone out there has the N810 with same symptom?

I think I like my N800 more and more now because I can replace the bad mmc2......

I've seen this happen a few times with removable sd cards on an n800.
In those situations I've usually had to fsck the card. Sometimes it's been necessary to remove and recreate the virtual memory, though I don't know where the n810 stores it, so it might not be important.

Happened to me a couple of times when the claws mailbox on that card got somehow corrupted (happened sometimes when using IMAP).

Reboot would fix the read-only problem.

I have no idea how a user level program like claws can cause such behaviour.
