Bonus points to anyone that manages to get this to work with RTCOMM.

I hate to shoot anybody down on their first how-to, but please avoid recommending Red Pill at all costs. It's the cause of a lot of trouble, because most people forget to turn it off.

Ah, I didn't know it was in extras.
But yeah, for that specific deb you needed red pill mode because otherwise it would say that it doesn't work on the platform, even though it does because its just a pidgin plugin.
But yeah, if its in the repo, don't worry about my howto unless for some reason the repo is broken for you

Has anyone been receiving an error lately when using Pidgin to speak with people on Facebook? Now every time I talk with someone, they get my message three times.

Step 1: Enable red pill mode
Open application manager -> Application Catalog -> New -> matrix in website field -> Cancel -> Red pill (Same thing for blue pill)
Step 2: Download and install the pidgin facebook chat plugin (200KB)

Step 3: Re-enable Blue pill mode
