Does anyone know how to put info into the cells without having to select with the stylus the top of the screen?

I know the question was asked before, but for bluetooth keyboard.

But now with the n810 it would be even more useful.

On my ubuntu box it works by that if you type text while a cell is highlighted it puts that into the cells.

Any suggestions greatly received.

i know nothing about the n810 kb as I have a n800.

On my iGo BT KB I use <left Fn>-s which translates to F2.

Shame there does not seem to be a way to do it with n810 keyboard.

There's a way. Use xmodmap to map something on your N810 keyboard to F2. I don't know that anyone's done this, but I think there have been a couple (or more) tutorials on using xmodmap to put pipe on, which should be enough of a start.

maybe:

xmodmap -e 'keysym comma = comma less F2'

For an english keyboard... that will add F2 by pressing FN + , ... I think?

Can someone please point me in the right direction for making this work. I want to accomplish exactly what is specified in this thread's title. Seems like I need to map F2 to fn + something, and "fn +," would be fine.

I don't know anything about xmodmap. I can't seem to figure out how to install xmodmap. The only version I can find is for OS2007. When I attempt to install it, my app manager says it has 'incompatible' packages'.

Can someone please help me figure out how to make this work.
