I recently received a HBH-DS220 headset in the mail.

The headset pairs fine with my Motorola Razr phone, but with my N800 it gives me grief. It seems to pair fine, but I get no audio...Basically the speakers don't play, but neither does the headset.

Has anyone gotten A2dp to work with the N800 yet? My headset gets recognized as "Headset" only, even though it is a stereo model that supports a2dp.

Well that is because OS2008 doesn't directly support A2DP profile. Read the thread above for more details.

Hi,

I read the tread. It's not that I'm not getting stereo (aggravating, but almost expected) it's that I'm not getting any sound at all...

And it does not seem to be limited to the Sony HBH-DS220 headset. I tried a ClipII BCK08 headset (same type, stereo and a2sp capable) and get the same result : recognized, paired, but no sound.
