Without having changed anything in my configuration, I don't see the shares of my other pcs (xp) in filemanager anymore.
I saw (and have copied some files) them before and don't know what's happening.
I shut down and restarted N810, I pinged other network devices with success, but don't see the shares anymore.
Any advice?

the shared folders icon is very flaky , it seems to come up or not come up for no rhyme or reason , sometimes a restart works most times it doesnt

I've written about this before. File Manager needs a refresh button. My N800 only seems to find network shares when I first boot up and connect to the network.

I just had the same problem...

Only thing I could think of was that I'd left it in red pill mode after doing the comms update earlier... changed back to blue pill and restarted device and the shares were there again.

Not sure if this had anything to do with it, or if it was just file manager being flakey.

Another reason for a refresh button in File Manager is that when files change in one of the remote shares, it does not appear in File Manager until you close the application and reopen it.

Changing directories/folders does not force an update.
