From what I have heard, the delay is due to the OS, not the hardware. The units are ready to rock, but the OS2008 isn't quite ready yet.

Actually there's not a single thing wrong with the English in that quote, other than a slight misspelling.

And it's been well-advertised that the N810 has slipped by a week or so, guys.

I can't remember ever being so impatient waiting for something to be released.

In the meantime of course there's plenty of work to do.

200+ days in a hotel this year, and over 2-dozen cities in the U.S. I picked up and put down GPS devices half-a-dozen times over the last month or so each time telling myself "Wait for the N810...wait for it..."

Half the people I work with have purchased GPS devices already. If I could show them a GPS that can also check e-mail via wifi, play music, browse the web and all that I could sell a dozen.

Not that I care. I just want mine!
