False alarm.... turns out that the download was corrupt! however there wasnt any real errors on extraction! redownloaded and all is fine!

That's strange. Same thing was reported at least twice. Broken download can happen for many reasons but why both gzip and tar don't report premature end of file is beyond my comprehension.

Until now, I have installed the latest OS2007HE, flashed the kernel, however when I try to flash the bootmenu I get an error at the end.
./initfs_flash: 243 /Dir..../mkfs.jffs2: not found
Cannot find initfs,bootmenu.jffs2, something failed, nothing flashed.
I have rebooted a few times.
Any ideas?
