In the web browser, make sure view>show images>always is marked.

That fixed it. I don't know how that got changed. Thanks for the very quick reply.
I love my n770 and have been using it everyday for about a month now and everything worked great. Last night when I opened up Opera none of the graphics appear for any website. There is a box that has the graphic file name but that's it. I tried a full power off/on but that hasn't helped. Any ideas?
