Do we know for sure that RIM will support the BB10 OS for years to come?

Their policy says the opposite... Older devices (not THAT old btw) not upgrading to their newest OS. be that BB6 or BB7, etc.


...even worse... do we know if RIM will exist in the near future?

Older devices not upgraded to newer OS... lack of support... questions regarding future viability of the company.

it's even worse for RIM though.

I'll rephrase that:

RIM devices don't have a community like this so it automatically becomes much worse for them

Let's see what happens....

I don't have high hopes though.. Ok, BB10 looks sweet and way "smarter" than Android (not that difficult to be) but from the bits&bites I've seen on youtube.. it seems a bit confusing and complex to use.

The joy of Harmattan is the uber simple (yet beautiful) way it works.
