I think this should be made a sticky, and have original post editted to include the list, instead of forcing posters to go through 10+ pages of posts.

I am reading this forum and is lost.....I was planning on buying either the

Kingston, 4 GB SD Secure Digital Flash Memory Card SD/HC

or, the

Sandisk 4GB Secure Digital SD HC Memory Card (SDSDB-4096, BULK, No Reader)

I appreciate any suggestions on if this would work or not.

Thanks,

Chase

Both will work, my preference would be the Kingston as my testing with SanDisk cards has shown their high-speed bus support to be somewhat lacking (ie. SanDisk only support slow clock speeds, which results in reduced read/write performance).

Ok, I am a total noob lol

I see that the SDHC Kernel came out. Will the:

Kingston, 4 GB SD Secure Digital Flash Memory Card SD/HC

or, the

Sandisk 4GB Secure Digital SD HC Memory Card (SDSDB-4096, BULK, No Reader)

work without the Kernel? I don't see a link to download the Kernel but If I find it, can I use ANY SD card in the world with my N800?

Thanks,

Chase
