The one on the left is elderflower wine (sugar, water, elderflowers, yeast).
The one on the right is a rum experiment (brown sugar, water, yeast).
The small barrel contains the final product

Shot before the announcement of the contest so this is a scratch, but that's ok since it didn't come out as well as I'd hoped.

Earth's two largest satellites in one exposure. You'll probably need to view in a larger size to even make out the ISS in the center of the picture. I'd have preferred that the moon not be partly blocked by the oak tree leaves, but it's pretty woodsy here, so you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.

Despite the apparent blackness of the sky, it was actually dusk, and the Moon and space station were the only visible objects so far in the sky.

Shout-out to Stelarium SFM which is invaluable in locating celestial objects including artificial satellites.

Since macro seem to be "the thing", I'll make it mine to. This is my very own first strawberry of the year. I'm going to eat it tomorrow.
As always, Xperia X, Sailfish stock photo app and some cropping by Pix.

Wow where is this?
No chance over here, all corn fields I have seen on this side are just green...

I was wondering if it's maybe winter wheat, which would have been planted last autumn for a harvest in late spring or early summer.

Whatever they are, the ripe ears out in the sun waving in the breeze under the beautiful sky are quite photogenic.

As far as I know it is winter barley. Its right just 500m away from home {southern Germany, 20km away from Stuttgart) I took the pic today on late aftrnoon, when I went for a little walk with my better half.
By the way, have I mentioned, that today my new screen arrived.
