Hello,

I was wondering if it's only me or everyone has these horizontal lines on photos at low light conditions?

Other than that photos are real nice.
Thanks

@qwazix,
how about BlessN900? does "lowlight" and "hdrcapture" perform better than bless?

The camera has some problems with low light conditions, but your's looks really extreme. With the right settings, my N900 made pretty decent night pictures, but it takes some tries to get it right.

I don't remember them. But they should be in the EXIF stuff on the picture.

Those photos ware taken in Auto mode. Night mode makes it little bit better..but I just wonder if this horizontal lines are "normal" on n900?
Using Bless900 photos look pretty decent.

@pycage

That's really good-quality photo. Did you edit gdigicam-camerabin.conf? There is no exif data available. Thanks

Primarily lowlight is foss while bless isn't but anyway I think they have a different approach to the matter. Lowlight does some complex math on two different pictures to obtain a better result. While this doesn't have any point on moving subjects, it produces jawdropping results at stills. I hope my DSLR could do that. I haven't tried hdrcapture.

Well, I personally just use FCamera+Camera Lens Launcher.

Set the ISO to a low value, like 100 or 200. Then muck around with combinations of the other settings. Mostly, the high ISO causes high graininess.
