For those like me who never had a N810, the picture below shows it next to other classics. Perspective, admittedly, but it still helps comparing.

[Edit] Or here, many N900/N810 comparison pictures.

N810 VS FP2 VS Moto Z

It's actually not that much of difference. Especially when it goes thinner.

I know 5.5 inch is big, but isn't that scarery. (And it gives a lot benefits not only a big screen but a bigger battery and we have more room to fit more components)

I think the one you mentioned is Z Play, Moto Z is slightly slimmer in all dimensions.

the advantage with the n810 vs moto or fair ...concerning screens...was the resistive screen....and the goldilocks screen size.

Loved my N810. Do not agree about the type of screen nor the size.

@chenliangchen the N810 is shorter than a J1 and just slightly wider. Are you serious with your statement?
Maybe it would help, if you can already tell us the expected dimensions in mm, even if they are not final yet.

Ditto, and the build quality of it!
Of all the Maemo devices the 810 feels the sturdiest and just mechanically best

---- edit ----

And I need to add the build of 810 is better than any of the symbian communicator devices. (which I also have owned all...)

yup ...the beast is a tank....built solid.

well gerbick...each to their own...
but frankly I hate phablets ..too freakin big...
and smaller screens than the n800/n810 .
.ie : n900 (as much as I love it)... etc.. just a pain ...need a binoculars to read anything on them...
and give me a resistive screen any day of the week over capacitive...
resistive actually makes it worthwhile to do things on any handheld ... without getting truly frustrated and really pissed off ....as with most capacitve handhelds...( I find them irritating..anyway..)
