Target Practice = practice the mecha, earn little money
Mission = defeat foes (lots of money, slow parts-unlock)
Rivals = fight online (little money, quick parts-unlock)

If you like either idea, let me know and I can help make the content etc but you would need to implement them to a game.
nice idea but it will be difficult to implement such graphics , and it is prefered that the game is more on multiplayer than single player . competition and having ur phone checked every half an hour to make stuff would be great !

Nice one ! any ideas how to be implemented on N900 browser ? how it is gonna be played i mean ?

What type of competition will be between players ?

possibilities of trade, cooperation, maybe sending disasters to other cities, transit connections, some point based system for ranking players, aligning with neighboring cities to form a megapolis...

Just play "Risk" / Pocket Conquest then....while we're at it, lets make it worthwhile, I vote yes for Mecha Wars!

Made in 2D-isometric scroller/platformer would be simple and light but not too limiting, just like Fallout 2

as for space wars
you are given a master planet where you build
- resource gathering stuff
- factories to build various things (fighter ships / explorers to explore the space / resource movers to move resources from captured planets to the master planet) / defensive fighters / drones to fix the broken fighters after battle ... etc
- laboratory to upgrade fighter ships and other stuff
- defensive towers to defend your planet
- (some weird name here) to upgrade the laboratory and the factory to be able to create a mothership (or any other game) that is like a factory+transportation+explorer for other kind of ships and it has a space-lab to create some super weapon and has places to build defensive towers on it ... thats a big imagination i have wow !

> 4-5 planet types , each planet has its own unique resources
> 4-5 nations (human-alien-blablaian-somethingelsanian ...) each ones have their unique ability

map to view planets of other players and
- attack to capture resources
- create alliance
- create portals between allies to move ships and goods faster
- defend (by sending defender ships to their planet)
- send resources
- gather to fight other players and alliances

- create a marketplace to sell/buy resources
- a small chat room and IM (maybe create a pidigin plugin just for the game haha)

- random small groups of bots that might attack you (depending on ur level)

Thats my idea , thats why i voted for the space battle game !
anyone got a better idea post it and vote !
